Out of the primordial soup of online presences crawled a special kind of animal. Like nothing else, Nirvana quickly became a unique and popular place to dwell.

Nirvana is a MUD of the LPmud variety.

    It features:
  • a heavily modified 2.44 mudlib on
  • a 3.1.02-DR driver
  • continuous operation since the 26th of Feburary, 1991
  • and averages 25 to 30 people logged in out of an active player base of over 1000

As an older mud (10 years!), Nirvana has grown to over 8,000 rooms in hundreds of areas to provide nearly something for everyone.
